Officer Variation of: Careers & Finance Officer

You will be responsible for being informed on the hiring process in both the industry, and in academia. You will be in charge of organising Career events that give our society members the opportunity to work on their employability skills and their CV.

• Employability Officer Responsibilities

  • Research common hiring strategies used in the industry and in academia.

  • Become well-informed on the differences between an Academic CV and a standard CV.

  • Organise Career Events that allow Society Members to work on their employability skills; these can range from CV Workshops to Psychometric Tests.

  • Work with the Industry Prospect and Academic Prospect Officers to incorporate your knowledge into their Career Events.
