Women's Football Captain

Available positions: 2 (you should currently be participating in the Sports Team)
Department: Sports Department

You will be in charge of organizing weekly practice matches for your allocated Sports Team and preparing them for tournaments. It is essential to have knowledge on the relevant sport as well as work with other committee members in making sure the team can thrive.

• Sports Captain Responsibilities

  • Organise weekly practice matches for your Sports Team and forward advertisements to the Newsletter Officer and the Communications Department

  • Register your Sports Team for competitive matches and the UoM Sports League.

  • Work with the Treasurer in applying for funds from the Maths Department and setting up membership options if the Committee votes to provide a membership option for participating in the weekly practices.

  • Take a register of each practice match for funding purposes and to track who is required to pay towards the Pitch Hire fees.
